This was supposed to be our start of the Summer family camping trip with friends, however Aria got sick last minute. Instead of everyone staying home, I opted to take Brandon camping by myself and have some father and son time.
He is usually glued to his mother, but for some reason, he was fine with going camping with just me. Even when I explained to him that mama wasn’t going to be there. He was excited to put his shoes on and everything. It was nice to see him enjoy camping and playing with others. Best of all, he didn’t cry or ask for mama at all.
For recording I decided to use the DJI Pocket 2 this time around. In the last camp trip video, the GoPro Hero 10 did not do very well in low light. With the Pocket 2, the low light performance is definitely better. I also brought my Fujifilm X100VI to shoot some photos of my son and friends. It is a great camera for people with kids. Easy to carry, point and shoot without much fuss.
