Nintendo World was the main reason this entire trip came to fruition. My kids are not big Disney fans, but they love Mario and crew. We all woke up early in the morning, got in a rideshare and within 12 minutes was at the drop off at Epic Universe.
Early park admissions is a must if you want to get on some rides fast, before the crowds. Utilize the single rider line if you do not care about riding separately is also highly suggested.
I decided to take out most of the ride POVs as filming during the rides at Universal were generally not allowed and to be honest, there are way better POV videos on Youtube than what I could capture.
Overall, it was a very fun day. Nintendo World was obviously the highlight, but the other parts of the parks were unique as well. Isle of Berk was pretty cool. The kiddos loved meeting Toothless and other characters of the franchise. The Ministry of Magic was nice and shiny, but they have to make the magic wands even easier to use. We saw a lot of people just standing there waving the wands around with no response on many occasions. The Dark Universe had a nice vibe to me. The kids on the other hand were seriously creeped out, especially since we went when the sun was going down and it got darker. Celestial Park was a large gathering spot with live performances and the celestial carousel, which is the best carousel out of the ones we have been on this entire trip.
Out of all the parks we have done on this trip, Epic Universe is the one we liked best.
This video took a bit longer to complete than anticipated… there were a lot of clips and I had issues rendering with my older iPad Pro. I needed to use Aria’s iPad Air with the newer chip to render. I guess its time for me to upgrade!
